Boca Raton, FL – ADT just released their fourth quarter 2018 results which show that its revenue was $1.2 billion. That represented a 7% year over year increase. However it is projected that things will really heat up in 2019 when ADT will start to phase out its original Pulse platform which was launched back in 2010 and will replace it with its new ADT Command and Control. “Command” is ADT’s new
alarm and automation security panel and “Control” is the platform and app that works to support the panel.

Off to a rapid start, ADT has already installed over 6,000 Command systems on a regional basis but soon it will be available nationwide. Currently over 3 million ADT customers are using the industry acclaimed Pulse platform. Today’s customers want a security experience that will integrate with the latest technology innovations. The Command panel offers them that ability.

The self-contained Command panel features both a 5 inch and a 7 inch touchscreen with a built in camera. The touchscreen will snap a picture of the user when the user disarms the system. The new command system will support over 250 security and smart home devices from carbon monoxide detectors to smart light bulbs. The command security panel offers cutting edge, dual path broadband and LTE cellular communications capability. It also features two way ultra-secure encryption for its security sensors to protect against hacking. It also offers the integration of ADT’s video doorbell as well as voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Voice assistant.

Brant Henke, President of ADT Dealer American Guardian Security Systems, Inc. in Norcross, Georgia related “The aesthetics of the new 7 inch color touch screen are beautiful as well. Not only is the technology of the Command system robust and powerful, the touchscreen has an elegant and professional look that will fit in with any décor.
